This song comes from the documentary, Standing in the Shadows of Motown,about the Funk Brothers. They were “the band” that played on Motown songs.
They played on more #1 records than the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley combined.

It’s a most excellent film, and of course the CD is a must have!
