According to this article, Metzger was found near a Russian airbase. I’m watching this incident, because something about it just doesn’t seem right….. but we’ll probably never know the truth.
Officers of Kyrgyz Interior Ministry needed three days to find Maj Jill Metzger, who was stationed at Manas Air Base in Kyrgyzstan and went missing September 5. Once found, Metzger was sent back to the United States, and Kyrgyz officers were ordered not to disclose details of the search to the public at large.
On September 5, Maj Jill Metzger, 33, who was stationed at Manas Air Base in Kyrgyzstan, was on her leave in Bishkek. She went missing in Aichurek department store, where she was shopping.
