AS YOU GO TO THE POLLS…..
QuestionGirl November 7th, 2006 - 10:39 amThere’s any number of reasons to vote the Republicans out of power in the house and Senate. Katrina, rubberstamping, the deficit, wiretapping, torture, medicaid/medicare, minimum wage, health insurance…or lack of it, corruption, sex scandals, Abramoff…..on and on and on and on. But the big kahoona of reasons is Iraq. A war we were lied into. A war that had no plan. A war where our troops were sent in without the tools they needed to fight. A war where Bush’s cronies have made billions upon billions of dollars on. A war in which torture has been the norm. A war that has caused the world view of us to go right into the dumper. A WAR THAT HAS COST US 2,837 U.S. LIVES……19 IN THE FIRST SEVEN DAYS OF NOVEMBER. A WAR THAT HAS COST THE IRAQI’S HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF LIVES!!!
Here’s your reason to get rid of the Republican “stay the course” bastards…….let Staff Sgt. Jason Whitehouse be your reason. Let Lance Cpl. James Brown be your reason. Let Spc. Douglas Desjardins be your reason. Pick a name……there are 2, 837 of them to chose from. And remember, that’s ALL they are to the Republicans. Names.
One last posting of A Day in Iraq…….take that to the ballots.
