Jeff Buckley - “Hallelujah”

Continuing the Leornard Cohen theme from an earlier Club Blue, here’s the most famous cover of a Cohen song, Jeff Buckley’s ethereal rendition of “Hallelujah.” Here’s another performance. As most people know, Buckley had an untimely death. Here’s his official site, here’s his Wikipedia page, and here’s the Wiki page for this song! I knew this tune had been used in about a dozen films and TV shows, but it turns out the current count is about 30! (If you-re really brave, there are also several amateur versions on the web - but you’d have to be a bigger masochist than Mel Gibson!)
