“Naima” - John Coltrane (1965)

John Coltrane received a posthumous Special Citation from the Pulitzer Prize Board in 2007 for his “masterful improvisation, supreme musicianship and iconic centrality to the history of jazz.” He was born in 1926 and died in 1967 at the incredibly young age of 41!
