by QuestionGirl • 9:56 am

I pray for these three soldiers. God help them……..

They are not the first to go missing. Hopefully they will not be forgotten.

BAGHDAD, May 13 — A massive aerial and ground manhunt involving thousands of American and Iraqi troops was underway Sunday for three U.S. soldiers missing after an organized assault on a military patrol south of Baghdad. The attack on the convoy, which was carrying seven U.S. soldiers and an Iraqi army interpreter, left five dead and three missing.

The Islamic State in Iraq, an al-Qaeda group, claimed it had captured several soldiers in the attack, but offered no proof to back up its statement, which was posted on an Islamic Web site, according to wire reports.

Meanwhile, a suicide truck bomber crashed into the offices of a Kurdish political party, killing at least 30 people and wounding dozens, including the mayor, officials said, the Associated Press reported. And in Baghdad, a parked car exploded near the Sadriyah market, killing at least 17 people and wounding about 40, police said, according to the AP. The area has been hit by several blasts usually blamed on suspected Sunni insurgents.
