You're dead on with criticism of Jacobs. "withdraw immediately" obviously means as quickly as it can be safely done, but to set the wheels in motion. Jacobs throws out one hell of a straw man there. His criticism of Bush is on target, but it's pretty sad he's peddling the same old BS line on advocates of withdrawal.

I've seen alot of signs on vehicles, in yards, all over Chicago. Impeach signs...all kinds of anti Bush stuff. One guy had a big delivery truck parked in front of a house. It was Friday night, maybe going to leave it there for the weekend. It had Impeach Bush and Anti War messages plastered all over it. Did my heart good.

In flipping through radio channels yesterday, I caught part of a local talk show, (WNOX - Knoxville, TN), with someone making the statement: "President Clinton owes his success to being an amoral president."

Typical. Knoxville is very conservative. Necks don't get much redder than this!

Which brings me to my very own quote: "President Bush owes his FAILURES to being an amoral president."

How's that?
