It's another aspect of corruption and if anybody thinks corruption is a "new thing", they're wrong. The bridge probably failed due to a lot of reasons, one of them being the Governor's refusal to backa bill passed by the state legislature to fund brings repairs all over the state with an 8 billion dollar plan. He vetoed that. They then came back with a bill for 4 billion and he vetoed that as well. I hope this comes out, but we'll probably never see it in the mainwussy media.
