Asay is a particularly egregious specimen. I lived in Colorado Springs for four years in the '90s, and his unfailing ability to exemplify right-wing lunkheadedness, at every point, on every issue, was nothing short of uncanny. He hasn't changed one iota in 15 years; a sterling example of a wingnut moron who will no way allow himself to be confused with facts, or the truth, or much of anything germaine to the survival of life on earth. If that account is accurate - and it certainly seems to be - that's outrageous. I don't agree with Shelton on many political issues, but he's a talented cartoonist with a visual flair and his approach is often more original than that of his fellow conservative cartoonists. I hope at the very least he gets a gig elsewhere. <i>The Orange County Register</i> sounds like a textbook case of atrocious management. By demanding uncompensated work, they could also be sued, but mostly that's just stunningly stupid. Thanks for the Shelton link. I don’t agree with Shelton on many political issues, but he’s a talented cartoonist with a visual flair and his approach is often more original than that of his fellow conservative cartoonists. I hope at the very least he gets a gig elsewhere. The Orange County Register sounds like a textbook case of atrocious management.
