From CNN’s Political Ticker:
They accuse me of being anti-gay and a bigot. We don’t believe in discrimination. We don’t believe in hatred, and if you do you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s the whole premise of God. That’s the whole premise of Christ is love, love, love. But there is a side of Christ that deals in judgment, and all sin is against God.
-Rev. Donnie McClurkin, at Sen. Obama’s campaign concert
McClurkin claims “homosexuality is a choice and that he overcame homosexual desires through prayer.”
Of course this is pure hogwash! McClurkin is not gay and never has been. He’s obviously bisexual, and is repressing strong inner desires to do the nasty dance with big, burly men. Repressing is never good though. He’ll become more and more bitter over time until, one day, a security guard will arrest his ass in some public bathroom sting operation.
Mark my words.
Until that day, grit your teeth and try to come to terms with the fact that bigotry and christian idiocy (which are mostly one and the same) are protected rights in our country.
