See what happens when people are forced to listen to the Limbaugh show at work day in and day out! See what happens when a TV network, that got our attention with shows like “Married, with Children” and “The Simpsons”, are also allowed to slip their special version of the news onto us!

FBI reports hate crimes rose 8 percent in 2006

WASHINGTON - Hate crime incidents in the United States rose last year by nearly 8 percent, the FBI reported Monday, as racial prejudice continued to account for more than half the reported instances.
Police across the nation reported 7,722 criminal incidents in 2006 targeting victims or property as a result of bias against a particular race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnic or national origin or physical or mental disability. That was up 7.8 percent from the 7,163 incidents reported in 2005.

Also from the report: “Of the 7,330 offenders identified by police, 58.6 percent were white, 20.6 percent were black”
Whites make up 80% of the population, yet only 58.6% of the perps were white, while blacks make up 12% yet committed 20.6% of hate crimes.
That is disproportional by 175%.

Well… I would say that Married, with Children and The Simpson drew a different crowd somewhat. And I’m not sure you can blame Fox News for this… although there’s no doubt they and folks like Limbaugh stoke biogtry!
Still, it’s the old correlation versus cause and effect. He plays to their BS, sure, but aren’t most Limbaugh listeners pretty stupid before they listen to him?
