U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley said Sunday that he’ll endorse John Edwards for president. He was to officially announce the decision today in Waterloo.

Edwards had a campaign appearance scheduled for noon at Hawkeye Community College.

Braley, a freshman lawmaker from the 1st District, said he is impressed with the field of Democrats running for the nomination, but that Edwards is most likely to change America.

“John Edwards has always fought for people who don’t have a voice to speak for themselves,” Braley said in an interview with Courier Lee News Service on Sunday.

  2. QuestionGirl Says:

He’s the only choice for me…..no way I’d vote for Obama or Clinton.

  3. Jump to the Left Says:

I had been planning to vote for Kucinich in the primary, but I don’t really want to help Clinton or Obama. Edwards is quite strong, and I have always liked him, but lately I’ve been really, really liking him.

I have always liked John Edwards, I just like Dennis Kucinich more.

  7. Buck Says:

I suppose I’m in agreement with everyone here. A Kucinich presidency would be wonderful, but I’ll be very happy with Edwards too.

  8. Jump to the Left Says:

They are both great, in my book. Imagine Edwards-Kucinich…
