From The Jaws Of (A Possible) Victory

What matters is winning. Not America. Not it’s citizens - you and me. Not our welfare. Not our security. Not our happiness. Not our world standing. Nothing. Just WINNING!

I hear the democratic rhetoric. They often publicly state they are democrats. History tells me they are democrats. CNN even prominently displays a ‘D’ after their names. So why do I sometimes feel this is nothing but one huge republican race for the White House?

Clintons’ Attacks on Obama Raise Fears

Some Democratic leaders think that former president Bill Clinton’s aggressive role in attacking Sen. Barack Obama and a new negative campaign ad, along with the couple’s harsh approach recently, threaten to divide the party in the general election.

A few prominent Democrats, including Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (Mass.) and Rep. Rahm Emanuel (Ill.), have spoken to the former president about the force of his Obama critiques. There is some fear within the party that if Obama becomes the nominee, he could emerge personally battered and politically compromised. And there is concern that a Clinton victory could come at a cost — particularly a loss of black voters, who could blame her for Obama’s defeat and stay home in November.

Y’all ready for four to eight years of a McCain presidency? Four to eight years of the status quo? Four to eight years of more of the same? They’re doing their damnedest to hand it to us on a silver platter, folks.

    Thanks. I’ve got a longer post, almost done, on related issues.

    However, let’s remember that the press always write “The Dems are in trouble!” pieces, regardless of reality.
