President Bush pressured the House on Wednesday to pass new rules for monitoring terrorists‘ communications, saying “terrorists are planning new attacks on our country … that will make Sept. 11 pale by comparison.” (emphasis mine)
And the house will, of course, cave to Bush’s demands.
People, I am so tired of this sh*t.

Call your representative today and ask him or her if they are going to vote “down with America” today.
Maybe that’ll make them think.

Bat, I’m sorry. I knew I glimpsed over a post somewhere that was linking to a petition drive. Forgot it was you/here. Very hectic day. Cold and snowy here - and my heat went out! Just got it fixed… AND, just went and signed the petition!
