I’m not buying this…….. not for a New York minute. One of the things I wondered last night was if it was just a matter of “curiosity”, why didn’t they look at all three candidates data. I imagine alot of people had that question. Now all the sudden today, all three were breached. Sorry, not buying it.
From Yahoo News:
Barack Obama says Congress should investigate the State Department’s snooping into presidential candidates’ passport files.
Obama learned Thursday night that State Department employees looked through his file. The department said Friday the files of Hillary Rodham Clinton and John McCain were also violated.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice spoke with all three candidates Friday and expressed regrets. The agency’s inspector general is investigating. The Justice Department is monitoring in case a criminal investigation is warranted.
Obama says Congress needs to be involved so it’s not just an internal investigation. He says the privacy violations are a problem not just for him but for how government functions.
