President Bush is making his way to South Florida today.

While in town, he will recognize a Palm Beach woman for her dedication to volunteer service.

President Bush will arrive here at PBIA late this afternoon where he will recognize a local volunteer and try to raise money for the Republican party.

Bush will present the president’s volunteer service award to Cheryl Crowley when he arrives at the airport.

Crowley has volunteered with the Palm Beach County literacy coalition for 15 years and read together Palm Beach County for seven years.

Since 2002, the president has met with more than 600 volunteers like Crowley to thank them for making a difference in the lives of others.

After presenting the award, Bush will head to an undisclosed home on Palm Beach to raise money for the Republican National Committee.

The Palm Beach visit is expected to drum up about 762-thousand-dollars. Earlier today, Bush is making an appearance in Jacksonville where he’s expected to raise almost 700-thousand-dollars.
