The Bush administration……..geniuses one and all! From my Yahoo alerts today:
WASHINGTON (AP) President Bush’s top economic adviser says it’s possible economic growth will be negative for the current quarter.
WASHINGTON (AP) President Bush says “it’s clear our economy has slowed.”
Oil hit a new all time high today ($106.54), and the dollar hit a new all time low against the Euro.
Another alert……. this ain’t good either. People are using credit cards to buy groceries and pay bills. Not good.
WASHINGTON (AP) The Federal Reserve says consumer credit rose at a pace of 3.3 percent in January, mostly reflecting heavy use of credit cards.
