McCain: So In Touch

I noticed again today that Sen. Obama repeated his opposition to giving low-income Americans a tax break, a little bit of relief so they can travel a little further and a little longer, and maybe have a little bit of money left over to enjoy some other things in their lives. Obviously Sen. Obama does not understand that this would be a nice thing for Americans, and the special interests should not be dictating this policy.

-John McCain

McCain is referring to his plan to suspend the tax on fuel, and Obama’s opposition to it. I just find it humorous that a multi-millionaire would genuinely be worried about poor people being able to travel “a little further” and have “a little bit of money left over.”

It really is laughable.

From the guy who jets around his campaign in a private jet provided by his wife’s company. Mr. Campaign reform himself. From the guy who wants tax breaks to the rich to last forever. How about you take the tax breaks away from big oil to help us out, McFriendy!

    and get behind this

What an ass. McCain’s plan means more money to the rich, screwing over the poor and jacking up the deficit even more. But Obama doesn’t want to help the poor. This is the sort of bullshit that, in a country with a good press, would haunt McCain.
