Campbell Brown
by Buck • Saturday, January 24th, 2009 - 11:13 amCNN’s Campbell Brown – keeping honesty in the White House… up until another republican moves in.
She’s pretty. She’s dumb. She’s a republican. She’s biased. And she’s a hypocrite. Which explains why she rides Obama’s ass, while having given Bush and company a free pass.
Thank you, CNN… for employing right-wing republican whack jobs. As if Glenn Beck wasn’t enough of a buffoon. Ted Turner should hang his head in shame.
Commentary: Obama breaks his own rule
(CNN) — Just a couple of nights ago, we heaped praise on the new president for announcing what he called a new era of openness, where in his administration, transparency would rule the day.
And the lobbyists that he was so critical of during the campaign? Well, he told us they will now face even tougher new restrictions.
President Obama: “The executive order on ethics I will sign shortly represents a clean break from business as usual. As of today, lobbyists will be subject to stricter limits than under any other administration in history. If you are a lobbyist entering my administration, you will not be able to work on matters you lobbied on, or in the agencies you lobbied during the previous two years. When you leave government, you will not be able to lobby my administration for as long as I am president.”
That’s what he said two days ago. But as we first told you Thursday, and sadly we are learning more about this Friday, President Obama already wants an exception to his own rule.
You see, what happened is, there is this former lobbyist for a big defense contractor called Raytheon. His name is William Lynn.
President Obama wants him to be deputy defense secretary. So, the Obama administration wants a waiver to its own rule.
Campbell is right though. Obama apparently did go back on a promise. All I’m saying is, Mrs. Brown is the wrong person to give an opinion on bad politics. Not after being one of the biggest lickers of Bush’s ball sack.

He shouldn't place this guy. It's not like there's no one else in the world who is qualified AND who hasn't worked as a lobbyist or for a defense contractor. I don't think this was a good move on Obama's part. He's going to make mistakes. We're not going to like every single thing he does. He's a fucking politician, afterall.
I haven't watched her show. I try and stay away from CNN at all costs. I did see a clip on youtube the other day of the Glenn Beck show. He was dissin Helen Thomas. I mean really going after her. Because she held Bush accountable, she's a raging liberal, according to him.

Late Friday afternoon announcement? Sure looks like business as usual to me, this one is straight out of the Bush/Cheney playbook. This one is clearly an Obama air-ball, didn't hit the rim or the backboard.

Glenn Beck needs to go back to drinking, the sober thing has just made him insane.
