Mitch McConnell: GOP Future In Danger

And he’s right. Pretending to care for the gun nuts and the religious crowd, when clearly it’s only the wealthy they’ll truly ever cater to… not to mention heeding advice from supreme “dildohead” Rush Limbaugh… the imploding republican party may never recover.

A dieing republican party may sound warm and fuzzy, but you can bet they’ll take as much of America as they can with them when they go under. It’s all about party with these folks.

McConnell warns of grim GOP future

BlueHerald Image(CNN) – Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell painted a downright dismal view of the state of his party Thursday afternoon, telling Republican National Committee members the GOP is in grave danger of being marginalized to a regional party.

“We’re all concerned about the fact that the very wealthy and the very poor, the most and least educated, and a majority of minority voters, seem to have more or less stopped paying attention to us,” the Kentucky Republican said on the second day of the four-day gathering.

“And we should be concerned that, as a result of all this, the Republican Party seems to be slipping into a position of being more of a regional party than a national one.

“In politics there’s a name for a regional party, it’s called a minority party,” said McConnell.

Old rich white guys whining about their self-inflicted wounds, isn't that special. Yawn.

Poor old, xenophobic rich dudes. I'm with Bro - Yawn!

Look past your bubbles and talk to true conservatives. I hate the Republican party for selling out the true conservatives but I hate the Democratic party more for acting like they care about people more than Republicans. Those who care volunteer their time, not pass legislation to throw money at problems. And don't you Democrats act all high and mighty that your party "gives" the poor so much, look yourselves in the mirror and you'll find out how much you actually "give".

JE, if you'd like to take the Republican party over and make it act sensibly, we'd all be for it. But hey, until recently the GOP has opposed health care for kids and still is representing the most privileged, rich and powerful. If you volunteer your time, good for you, but don't assume that no one here does, okay? "High and mighty" doesn't get anyone far, nor do baseless accusations about being so - the point is to do things (which includes passing legislation) that actually make peoples' lives better.

Look past your bubbles and talk to true conservatives...

I have - and they were primarily lying, scheming, unethical, manipulative, narcissistic, avaricious, pompous douchbags. (And this includes lawyers, judges, US district attorneys, Newt Gingrich, and congressmen.)

    Sorry, No Sale.

Nixon and all that followed have pretty much sullied the Republican brand so severely that I'm amazed it hasn't imploded. Oh, wait...

Pee Wee Herman once said, "I know you are but what am I?"

The man was wise beyond his years.
