The nerve Rush Limbaugh has. And Obama will probably fall all over himself trying to accommodate the bloviating pig.
Remember back just a few short weeks ago when the word “bipartisanship” not only wasn’t uttered, thoughts of it set off fits of laughter? No republican, whether he be a politician, professional hate mongering pundit or just a regular, everyday Joe six-pack, has ever (during republican control, that is) entertained the notion of bipartisanship. That’s not made up. It’s a fact!
So now, if President Obama refuses to bend completely over and be screwed by John Boehner and company, then he should at least meet them halfway. Funny. I’ve never seen a man work so hard at trying to appease these jack-asses… before, during and after the election… and it’s still not enough for them. Barack needs to wise up to these borrow-and-spend, give-the-rich-a-break creeps. They’ve already put the rest of us in the poor house. Breaking America’s back is their intent, and we’re damn nearly there! Just say no to these shitheads.
Obama-Limbaugh stimulus plan?
That’s at least what the conservative talk radio host is proposing this week, first on his radio show Monday, and today in an Op-Ed in the Wall Street Journal.
Rush Limbaugh, who has sharply rebuked the president’s more than $800 billion stimulus plan and admonished congressional Republicans for not doing more to stop it, says Obama should make a “genuine compromise” with Republicans wary the bill doesn’t include enough taxes and calls for too much government spending.
Instead, Limbaugh proposes that 54 percent — about the percentage of the vote Obama won in the presidential election — of the stimulus bill go to the infrastructure spending the Democrats are proposing while the remaining 46 percent go to the tax cuts pushed by Republicans.
Genuine compromise, my ass! It’s 100% their way, or be prepared for a huge hissy fit. But, know this: they will eventually get their way. The big crybabies usually do. Milquetoast democrats will hand it to them.
With tax cuts for the wealthy, more will be able to buy those much needed corporate jets. Put the additional tax burden on the backs of the poor who would have foolishly used that money to buy health insurance for their family.
And as STUPID as that sounds, many of Rush’s listeners fit in that mold. What tools.
