Abortion Doctor Killed

Some religious whacko doesn’t believe in abortions, but thinks it’s ok to kill someone who does. I’m not a supporter of late term abortions other than if the mother’s health is at risk, but I wouldn’t kill anyone who performed them. And the people religious whackos will cheer this death. Sick twisted thinking.

Dr. George Tiller, whose Wichita, Kansas, women’s clinic has been the target of anti-abortion protests for years, was shot and killed at his church Sunday morning, his attorneys said.
Dr. George Tiller was one of the few U.S. physicians that performed late-term abortions.

Laura Shaneyfelt, an attorney with the firm of Monnat and Spurrier, confirmed Tiller’s death to CNN.

The 67-year-old doctor was one of the few U.S. physicians who still performed late-term abortions. He survived a 1993 shooting outside his clinic.

Wichita police said they were searching for a powder-blue Ford Taurus in connection with the killing, which took place outside Reformation Lutheran Church shortly after 10 a.m.

Police spokesman Gordon Bassham said witnesses provided a license number of the car the killer used to speed away from the church.

Faith-based terrorism, faith-based murder... just like 9/11. Where's the difference?

  2. chicher Says:

Operation Rescue has been busy scrubbing the page "Tiller Watch" off of their site. Buck, "faith-based terrorism" is perfect.

I've seen a few O'Reilly roundups - he's practically an accessory to murder.

Unfortunately for “Dr.” Tiller, the old adage still holds true:

“He who LIVES by the sword, DIES by the sword”.

Murder is never justifiable, as was not the murder of thousands at Tiller’s own hands. The only thing positive here, is that some little person waiting to see daylight, play, see colors and hold its mother’s hand, MAY now get that chance. His or her executioner will not be there, today. The whole thing is VERY SAD, the fact that the man died violently, and that HE imposed so much brutality, and pain upon others.

The Right-To-Choose crowd can deny that these are conscious beings inside the womb if they want, but anyone who has ever watched knees and elbows go by as a baby swims with joy knows the TRUTH! I already knew my daughter’s personality three months BEFORE she was born. Those same bursts of activity and spirit persist to this day, and she’s now 30. It’s a shame that people can choose to be so blind. Especially a “Doctor” who’s sworn to “First do no harm”. It’s TRULY PITIFUL.

Allen, most of Dr. Tiller's abortions were cases where both the mom and the child would likely have died in childbirth. Where do you stand on that?

  6. Buck in NM Says:

Allen do you know the names and personalities of the children, both born and unborn who are murdered every day in your name as a citizen of the US? Crying is OK but pick something real to cry about. Murder is murder no matter who does it or sanctions it.
