Am I the only one reading what I said? Where in my comments above did I defend President Bush? I said nothing of the sort, I said that the liberal media wouldn’t go after President Obama like they did President Bush? I do recall saying that the press, (those are the ones that tell you your opinion on the channels listed above), need to keep the President in line whether it be a REPUBLICAN, DEMOCRAT, CONSERVATIVE or LIBERAL. Ya, that’s really defending Bush.

The one thing I would defend Bush on is that I don’t think it was entirely his fault the economy is in the situation it is today. There is plenty of room to point fingers on both sides of the ally. I’m willing to admit that, are you? This has been going on for years and as I have said before, our politicians have let us down, both sides.

I’m glad to hear that there are some schools that teach the Constitution. It being in Illinois kind of worries me since Illinois is known for the corruption in its politicians and it makes me wonder if it’s a “Revised” version of the Constitution. That’s why I said that they “should read and understand the way the founding father did”.

Just say what it is you want, Ray.
Stop this ridiculous and cliche rant on "the liberal media" and say what you want to happen. You want the media to hit Obama as hard as you thought they hit Bush? Which Bush? The "Attack The Evil-Doers" Bush? Because the media all lined up for that. Chris Matthews, Brokaw, even the now sainted Tim Russert. They were all behind him then because they thought that would sell the most product. But if trying to suggest that Bush got some kind of raw deal, then I think I just saw a rolling donut go by... Or the "I've just given away all the money we have to all my friends" Bush? The thing about you cemented-in-place guys is that you can't bring yourselves to admit that one of your own might stink. Stink bad. Stink on ice bad. I can name a number of democrats that I wouldn't piss on their heads if they were on fire. And I have stated many times on this site that I think people get way too excited about politicians.
But man, your shit is tired. All someone has to do is register Republican and you will defend them to the bitter end. You guys talk about Palin all the time even when in her own state the REPUBLICAN head of the Alaska senate said She didn't think Palin knew how to be governor, let alone President or Vice-president. She, like so many others in the world of elections is not a statesman or leader or anything else from civics class, she is a political celebrity. And if you want to know the truth I think Obama could end up one too. But that remains to be seen. He has come into office with a lot of hard shit to tackle. And while I believe it is your fundamental right as an American to bitch about our politicians it would be oh-so refreshing to hear one of you cookie-cutter, talking-points-repeating, ditto-heads say once, just once that Bush caused all this. I have no sympathy for anyone who blindly supports the one who kills the golden goose and then has the balls to bitch about how the bloodstains are cleaned up.

<em>"But try explaining that to a Fox-viewing moron."</em>

Did I not hit the nail squarely on the head with that one?

You are delusional. Fox news didn't just become biased when Obama took office. It's been going on for years.

<em>None of them are going after him like they did President Bush</em>

Gee, why would anyone go after a president who bankrupted the country, lied us into war, spied on us illegally, tortured people, ruined our moral standing globally... yah, the media had no reason to go after Bush. I guess it's Fox that isn't biased, it's every other network and news print that is. Paaalease. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound?

The fly thing was absolutely stupid. We can agree on that.

Ray, at least some public schools DO teach the Constitution. To graduate HS in Illinois you must pass the US History class which includes a test on the US Constitution which you must also pass. You apparently have little, if any knowledge, about that which you speak. The media was "going after" Bush? Obviously your <em>forest</em> has no trees.

Obviously you can’t see the forest through the trees! President Obama in the “have a problem with Fox” link you provide above even admits that there is only 1, (ONE) network that is a thorn in his side and that’s FOX. Why do you think that is? Because they don’t drool over themselves when Obama speaks? Lets see, you have MSNBC that is like the official Obama cheerleader, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS, CNBC and I’m sure I am probably missing a few, I know Comedy Central has Jon Stewart but I don't watch that channel. Then there is the printed media such as the New York Times, Sun Times, L.A. Daily News, San Francisco Chronicle, Baltimore Sun….etc, etc, etc. None of them are going after him like they did President Bush. Oh sure, they will ask a question here or there but nothing like they did with the former President.

I don’t know if you caught all the buzz (pun intended) on the Obama News Networks about his killing a fly, but it was pathetic. They were like little school kids falling over themselves wanting to show how he killed the fly. Rush Limbaugh did it back on his TV show in 1995 but that never made the news.

At any rate, the press needs to keep the President in line whether it be a Republican, Democrat, conservative or liberal, it doesn’t matter. That’s why they were given constitutional protection. ....Constitution, you know, that’s something that every American should read and understand they way the founding fathers did. To bad the schools don’t teach it.
