on Alternet I read a story by a man who said that her insistance in procedure cost him 16 years of his life because of a crime that he did not commit. She refused to hear his appeal because his lawyer filed the appeal and was dated by postmark. She said no go it must be in the clerks hands. No consideration of justice or even a cursory glance in her direction. She scares the livin shit out of me, for many of the same reasons that those neocons spout. I am old and don't have that far to go but you younger generations are going to be stuck with her for a long time, so take a good look for yourself before you make up your mind.

If Republicans want to avoid 'Activist Judges' they should immediately appoint Sotomayor and impeach Scalia. If you define 'activist' as overturning the laws made by Congress, Scalia has been as, or more, activist than any justice we've seen since the 50's.
