MSNBC had a progressive radio host on who floated the possibity of a criminal investigation as the reason she might have resigned. Andrea Mitchell also stated she heard Palin is out of politics for good. Does she sound whackier than ever here, or what? Wow. She’s quitting because she’s not a quitter. This is one crazy woman.

Really..... she's not a quitter so she's quitting, she wants to save taxpayers in Alaska money but somehow she, who approves budgets, isn't able to do that (those ethics investigations have only amounted to around 200,000, not millions as she has stated), the troops (what the fuck do the troops have to do with her quitting), people are picking on Trig (who??? I haven't heard that) we need more down's syndrome babies in this world...... blah blah blah. She's either scared shitless because of what's coming down the pike or she's smoking crack.

It appears to me that she's genuinely upset, in waaay over her head in terms of the national spotlight, and just can't handle it. Bradblog is reporting some more corruption charges might be coming, too.

I'm with chicher, I can't make sense of it. To me it sounds like a hockey mom announcing she is no longer gonna be in the car pool rotation. Bizarre indeed.
