It's not surprising Bobby Jindal doesn't see the importance of monitoring volcanoes. He is, after all, of the same party that ignored the hurricane research prior to Katrina. Apparently party just doesn’t put much stock in that kind of scientific garbage, as evidenced by what happened in Louisiana despite the detailed warnings provided to them ahead of time! Shame, shame!
