As if this wasn't a depressing enough week, now I get home from work today to read that Etta died. She was/is one of my favorite artists of all time. RIP. She had Alzheimers. Kind thoughts to her family. It's rough to watch a loved one be taken by this terrible disease.

And just so everyone will know this (if they don't already): The republican voters of South Carolina are the fucking dumbest in the world. They're cheering Gingrich for being an adulterer. I really thought the people of SC were of stronger religious material. But they are proving themselves to be no more moral than your average store-front thief.
