Lawmakers from parliament’s largest Sunni bloc walked out Saturday[/tag] in protest of the arrest of their leader. Iraq’s army says they have offered to escort the leader from his home, but the leader, Adnan al-Dulaimi, claims they have not. He’s been confined to his home in a standoff for three days.

Bush has asked for $46 Billion more for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I don’t understand why he’s been allowed to keep funding this war through emergency funding and not budget it. Again……congress enabling.

Two Americans have been deported from Namibia. They were said to be recruiting Namibians as guards for United States operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
