It’s been a whacky week around here. My computer crash landed in the middle of the week. Not fun. Getting ready for Christmas. Trying to keep up with this puppy! She’s either really really smart, or really really dumb. I haven’t figured it out yet. I think I’ll send her to Buck for Christmas. Miss Kitty will love her. ha! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! It’s a cool 50 here this morning. Brrrrrr!!!!!

Family committments are going to keep Buck and I away for a few days. I’m going to pick my Mom up and bring her down for a couple months.

God I love my boyfriend…….such a saint he is!!! to him!!!

So…….consider this a two day open thread. ha!

We’re most definitely too old for this shit. Today…..we move the big stuff. Like the boyfriend’s “other girlfriend.” The one I call “Black Beauty”. Oh yes I curse the day that bitch came into our lives. From that day forward, it was her buttons he was pushing, not mine. It was her he was turning on, not me. Many a night he’d sleep on the couch to be near to her. Maybe after moving her today, the fondness will wane. Ha!!!

It’s going to be slow going around here the next couple days. We haven’t disappeared…… just life interfering. I’ll be back at it next week.

All I can say about the beginning of the hearing…..a clusterfuck. Microphones that don’t work, hand outs that aren’t there. Ike Skeleton telling Ileana Ros-Lehtinen not to lecture him and her telling him she wasn’t. When she walks away he says the hell you weren’t. (his mike was working) The Betrayus is talking now. Telling us how the “violence” has been reduced since the surge. I’ll tell ya how they reduced the violence. By changing the way they report it. Did you know……..

The Los Angeles Times reports that people killed in car bombings don’t count.
The Washington Post reports that victims shot in the face don’t count.
The Center for Strategic and International Studies reports that Shi’a vs. Shi’a and Sunni vs. Sunni violence doesn’t count.

The reason the violence is down in Baghdad (if indeed it is) is because we’ve walled off neighborhoods and people are living, basically, like prisoners.

Shags and I picked up a coconut on our morning walkies. He’s having more fun with that thing than he does with any toy I’ve ever bought him. If only life could be so simple for us humans. What to play with, when will my next walkies be, man I wish she’d give me some of that chicken she’s eating, I wonder what cockatiel tastes like, whatta ya mean I can’t play with the shark?…….not to mention the boyfriend wishes he could lick a part of his anatomy like the dog does. Now that would simplify his life…..and mine! ha!

It’s been awhile since I posted a pic of my pooch. He’s got all kinds of names. His real name is Buddy, but he’s aka Little One, Little Babes, Shags, Meathead, Fred, my little pal, you little bastard, Blondie, Chewy Louie……the list goes on and on. I never taped his ears, so he ended up with one ear up and one ear down. Someone told me if you crop dogs ears and cut their tails it’s not good. They use those body parts to communicate with other dogs, and when you alter them it screws up their communication system. Isn’t that interesting……..
