Palin says she’d be honored to help Obama

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Gov. Sarah Palin said Wednesday that she would be honored to help President-elect Barack Obama in his new administration, even if he did hang around with an “unrepentant domestic terrorist.” [...]

But asked moments later about some of the tough rhetoric she hurled from the stump, she said she was “still concerned” about Obama’s ties to former Weather Underground member-turned-Chicago college professor William Ayers.

“I’m not going to be out there judging individuals, sitting in a seat of judgment telling what they can and can’t do, should and should not do.”

Goddamn liar. That is exactly what she plans on doing. She has done so as Governor of Alaska, and she’ll continue doing so as VP of the US. Why else would Focus on the Family’s James Dobson, who originally said he could not and would not back John McCain, all of a sudden have a change of heart? Palin has more than surpassed the “hate and intolerance” expectations of the Christian-right crowd.

Just so you know, there’s not one, but two things the Christian-right are praying for tonight- a Palin-McCain win November, and a McCain funeral in December. Think I’m kidding? You can read these racist, hypocritical, hate-filled bastards like a stone tablet.

Palin and McCain disagree on federal gay marriage ban

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (CNN) — Add one more policy item to the list of things John McCain and Sarah Palin disagree on.

Palin told CBN’s David Brody over the weekend that she supports a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, a proposal John McCain voted against in 2004. McCain believes the matter should be left to the states. [...]

“I’m not going to be out there judging individuals, sitting in a seat of judgment telling what they can and can’t do, should and should not do,” she said. “But I certainly can express my own opinion here and take actions that I believe would be best for traditional marriage and that’s casting my votes and speaking up for traditional marriage that, that instrument that it’s the foundation of our society is that strong family and that’s based on that traditional definition of marriage, so I do support that.”
