SUNDAY TALK SHOW LINE UP

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) sits down for the full hour on NBC’s “Meet the Press” as he seeks to put the Rev. Jeremiah Wright controversy behind him and close the sale with voters.

Will Tuesday be the knockout that Obama has been looking for?

Not to be outdone, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) sits down for an interview on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos, her husband Bill’s former communications director.

Clinton will be in Indiana for a special ABC Sunday morning “Town Hall,” where she hopes she can convince voters she’s ready to field those 3 a.m. calls in the White House.

On “Fox News Sunday,” Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean continues the parade of high-level Democrats onto the network.

Dean has made no secret of his desire to see the presidential nomination fight wrapped up by July.

But will he get his wish?

Host Chris Wallace also moderates what is sure to be a contentious chat between two former Democratic national chairmen, Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe and Joe Andrew, a former Clinton supporter who switched his allegiance to Obama.

Will McAuliffe have any contentious words for Andrew? Or has he learned his lesson from James Carville?

On CBS, “Face the Nation” features Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.), who’s backing Clinton, and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.).

Clyburn made waves in an interview with The New York Times when he suggested that former President Bill Clinton was damaging the party with some of his remarks about Obama.

Will he have anything more to add on Sunday?

Richmond Mayor Doug Wilder, the former Virginia governor who supports Obama, rounds out the CBS lineup.

CNN’s “Late Edition” also leads with a surrogate fight, as North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley, who recently endorsed Clinton, faces off against New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, a former Democratic presidential contender who now backs Obama.

A pair of campaign economic advisers also tout their candidate’s economic platforms. Former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich, who now backs Obama, takes on Gene Sperling, who’s advising the Clinton campaign.

And Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) stops by to tout his friend, Arizona Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

Finally, Rep. Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.) and Democratic political consultant Donna Brazile discuss religion in America and the recent uproar over Wright’s comments.

On Bloomberg’s “Political Capital,” host Al Hunt discusses pending housing legislation with House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.).
